Why did you select KU for your university?
I have been a KU fan for as long as I can remember. My biggest dream since I was little was to become a Jayhawk. I have always admired Lawrence for it's diversity, and also because it is filled with the most loyal fans that carry so much pride for their school everywhere they go.
What's your favorite KU tradition?
Although it can be a pain sometimes, my favorite KU tradition definitely has to be camping for the basketball games. Camping is something that brings the students together in a very fun and different way that sets us apart from other schools. If that doesn't show you how much love and support the students give to their school, I don't know what does!
What's a few of your favorite things about KU.
My favorite thing about KU is it's diversity. As I walk around campus everyday, I see so many different kinds of people. No one is ever afraid of branching out and being themselves, and all the diversity makes our campus so special and beautiful!
Describe your typical Saturday night in Lawrence.
A Saturday night in Lawrence is never boring - especially if you are hanging out with my friends and I! We usually try to get some dinner before a night on the town after a stressful week of school :)
Do you have a favorite sport at KU?
Every Jayhawk's favorite sport is basketball!
What is the dream job you would like to have after graduation?
I'm a very approachable individual that loves to socialize and meet new people on a regular basis. So a job that consists of me talking to people and helping them with their problems would be ideal.
Why did you choose to be part of the Women of KU calendar?
I love being a Jayhawk and showing support for my school. The calendar is something that definitely shows all the pride that I have. It was also a very honorable opportunity that I was given and has been one of KU's many traditions.
What 3 or 4 words describes you best?
Loyal, honest, attitude, funny :)
Why did you choose your major?
I chose to be a business major because it is broad and allows me to have many options. Business also involves people - and I love working with people!
Are you involved in anything on or off campus you are proud of?
Not only am I proud of where I go to school, I am also proud of my culture. I was in a pageant my senior year of high school and I was Miss Lao New Year of Kansas City in 2010. The pageant is very culturally enriched and I am glad that I am still involved with it.
What special talents do you have?
I love food and cooking. My friends tell me that the food I cook reminds them of their moms - I'll take that as a compliment!
Name something that most people don't know about you.
I can speak three languages fluently - English, Laotion and Thai.
What do you look for in a guy? What is sexy?
I love guys that can make me laugh, help me with my homework and definitely one I can take home to mom - but it doesn't hurt if he's tall, dark and handsome as well ;)
Tattoos - Turn on or turn off?
I love tattoos - as long as they have meaning and not all over the body, I want to be able to focus on a person rather than trying to count how many tattoos they have.
Would you say you are more country girl or city girl?
I definitely have a city girl attitude. I live a very fast paced and adventure filled life.
Roses or chocolates?
As weird as it sounds, especially coming from a girl, I absolutely hate chocolate. But I'd take flowers any day!
What is your favorite part of being in the calendar?
I have loved meeting new people, especially all of the girls. It's also really exciting knowing that tons of people have pictures of you hanging up in their room!
