Why did you select KU for your university?
I have been a Jayhawk my entire life and couldn't imagine going anywhere else!
What's your favorite KU tradition?
Definitely the Rock Chalk Chant, especially at KU Basketball games. It gives me goose bumps every time!
What's a few of your favorite things about KU.
I loved walking through campus on nice, sunny days! I also LOVE Impromptu Café at the Union. It is so delicious!
Describe your typical Saturday night in Lawrence.
Unfortunately I don't live in Lawrence anymore because I'm at the Med Center but when I'm there, we usually end up on Mass St. I also love tailgating for football games!
Do you have a favorite sport at KU?
Basketball. What else?
What is the dream job you would like to have after graduation?
Working as a Hematology/Oncology nurse/nurse practitioner.
Why did you choose to be part of the Women of KU calendar?
I wanted to be reconnected to the Lawrence campus. I really miss it!
What 3 or 4 words describes you best?
Responsible, mysterious, and definitely stubborn!
Why did you choose your major?
I've always wanted to be a nurse! I spent a lot of time in the hospital with family members growing up and I knew it was something I wanted to do.
Are you involved in anything on or off campus you are proud of?
My commitment to running and physical fitness! I love it!
What special talents do you have?
I love to cook!
Name something that most people don't know about you.
I can make a fabulous (and delicious) wedding cake! I also love four wheeling!
What do you look for in a guy? What is sexy?
Oh let's see, I like a guy who is confident, motivated and spontaneous. They must be honest and courteous and have a good family. Sarcasm is definitely a plus and, of course, I have to be attracted to them! Finally, ugly hands are a total deal breaker!
Tattoos - Turn on or turn off?
Depends on what/where they are.
Would you say you are more country girl or city girl?
City girl. I love Kansas but I can't wait to move after graduation!
Roses or chocolates?
What is your favorite part of being in the calendar?
Meeting new people!
