Why did you select KU for your university?
I chose KU because the campus is beautiful, the school spirit and the student diversity.
What's your favorite KU tradition?
The Rock Chalk Chant – pretty much the coolest chant ever made (Napoleon Dynamite voice)
What's a few of your favorite things about KU.
I like how just about anything can happen here.
Describe your typical Saturday night in Lawrence.
The night usually starts with dinner out with the girls. Then we’ll get all spiffed up together and blast dance music in the background, and then we’ll make lasting memories while we paint the town red.
Do you have a favorite sport at KU?
Men’s Basketball! Magic happens inside Allen Fieldhouse.
What is the dream job you would like to have after graduation?
It’s a long shot, but I would love to edit and write the voice over for movie trailers. I’m a huge movie buff!
Why did you choose to be part of the Women of KU calendar?
The Women of KU calendar presented opportunities that I couldn’t pass up and I knew it would be a blast! When I’m an old granny sitting on my porch swing, I can look back on this with great satisfaction in knowing I lived my college years with no regrets.

Why did you choose your major?
Journalism opens up a wide range of job opportunities after graduation, and the skills we learn in the School of Journalism apply to just about any profession.
Are you involved in anything on or off campus you are proud of?
I supervised residents in Corbin Hall and Ellsworth Hall my sophomore and junior year as a Resident Assistant for the Department of Student Housing – by far one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I collect vinyl records. My friends say I have an “old soul,” but the Rat Pack knew how to work a crowd better than anyone. Dean Martin is such a dream boat.

Determination, sense of humor, honesty

Would you say you are more country girl or city girl?
Definitely more of country girl.

What is your favorite part of being in the calendar?
Meeting all the girls in the calendar and Dave, the calendar owner! Being able to hang out with the girls at the events is more fun than I could have imagined. I feel honored to be a part of such a fantastic experience.
