Model Profile

What was it like being photographed in Florida this year for the 2013 Women of KU Swimsuit Calendar?
It was such a blast! I was stunned at how beautiful the different locations were. Not to mention, I didn't mind getting my hair and make-up done, that's never too bad when you're a girl, haha. It was also so amazing how we all got to stay in one house, (thanks Annie) it turned into more of a vacation than a photo shoot. I didn't feel like I was working for even a minute, thanks Dave!

What is your favorite part of being in the calendar?
My favorite part of being in the calendar is the appearances! It's so fun to go out with all the girls and Dave!

Why did you select KU for your university?
I selected KU for my University because it has one of the best college towns/feels around. I also love how chill the people are, it's not too fast paced like Chicago, where I'm from.

What's your favorite KU tradition?
I don't know if this really counts as a tradition, but the basketball games!!

Describe one of your favorite things about KU and/or Lawrence.
I love Mass Street and the basketball games/tailgates.

Describe your typical weekend night in Lawrence.
I would probably get dinner with my girlfriends and head over to one of our guy friends' house for a pregame. Then we'd probably end up somewhere on Mass and then have a sleep over!

Do you have a favorite sport at KU?
Do I even need to specify?

What is the dream job you would like to have after graduation?
I would love to do PR work in L.A. or NY, or maybe Chicago.

Why did you choose to be part of the Women of KU calendar?
I chose to be a part of the Women of KU calendar because I thought that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, I did it for myself and no one else.

List 3 or 4 words that describe you best?
crazy, funny, loyal, high-energy, personable

Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because I like to be around people and I thought Journalism presented that opportunity in a ton of different ways.

Are you involved in anything on or off campus you are proud of?
I was a Hawk Week Leader! And s/o to First Management! My first job in Lawrence.

What special talents do you have?
I can do the worm with my eyebrows and I'm really good at doing the roller coaster with my arms. I think that I was put on this Earth to dance and sing. Oh, and I have a fascination with license plates and I do this weird thing in my head where I make math equations with the numbers that are displayed. (That probably made no sense)

Name something that most people don't know about you.
I have a shopping addiction. (Actually I think everyone already knows that). But something most people don't know is that I would love to be a part of the Peace Corps.

What do you look for in a guy? What is sexy?
HUMOR. If you're not funny, then we won't have anything in common. I like guys to have confidence, but not to the point where it's tacky or they come off as a jerk. There's nothing cuter than guys who are sweet and chivalrous, and of course if they're not terrible looking that's never a bad thing. If there are any Justin Bobby's in Kansas, hit me up.

Tattoos - Turn on, turn off, I'm fine either way?
I think tattoos are fine as long as you're not covered in ink. I want a few myself and there's worse things a guy can do to his body than get tatted up.

Would you say you are more country girl or city girl?
City girl definitely, I've never really been to the "country" so I can't really speak on that behalf. My parents are both huge city people, so maybe just by association is why I like the city. I enjoy the fast paced environment and how there are people from so many different walks of life. I recently started listening to country music though and I'm in love. I'd love for Luke Bryan to propose to me. Kip Moore... Jake Owen..

Roses or chocolates?
Roses fer dayz.

I want to say...
I would like to express how grateful I am for such a wonderful opportunity and being able to meet and hang out with all the beautiful girls! Thanks to Heather, Sean, and of course, Dave!!
