Model Profile

What was it like being photographed in Florida this year for the 2013 Women of KU Swimsuit Calendar?
It was amazing being photographed in Florida! Everything was so beautiful and there was NEVER a dull moment! All of these girls are so amazing and such a blast to be around. I made such great friends throughout this trip! Another part I liked about being in Florida was the wonderful seafood restaurant all of us went to for the calendar wrap party, although we may have had a little too much fun! Haha

What is your favorite part of being in the calendar?
Well, of course, being in Florida was fabulous but being able to come back to Lawrence and go to appearances with all of these ladies is a blast.

Why did you select KU for your university?
I selected KU for my university because the campus is amazingly beautiful! I just had such a great feeling about it from the first time I visited. I grew up being the biggest Jayhawk fan in a world of Mizzou fans, so I knew this was where I was meant to be!

What's your favorite KU tradition?
Waving the Wheat!

Describe one of your favorite things about KU and/or Lawrence.
One of my most favorite things about Lawrence in Mass Street! My favorite thing about KU is basketball, though!

Describe your typical weekend night in Lawrence.
My typical weekend night in Lawrence would consist of going to Tapas for dinner with my girlfriends then either The Jayhawk Café, Bullwinkle’s, or the Wheel!

Do you have a favorite sport at KU?
BASKETBALL! But I will always cheer for KU football!

What is the dream job you would like to have after graduation?
My dream job after I graduate would be to become a Travel Director for Maritz Travel

Why did you choose to be part of the Women of KU calendar?
I choose to be in the calendar because after looking at past calendars I thought it would be such a great opportunity to be a part of something so wonderful!

List 3 or 4 words that describe you best?
Outgoing, caring, personable and goofy

Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because I am outgoing and personable and I feel that majoring in Communication Studies would give me that opportunity to have a career where I can work one on one with people.

Are you involved in anything on or off campus you are proud of?
I am in a sorority here at KU!

Name something that most people don't know about you.
I am a total nerd!

What do you look for in a guy? What is sexy?
I look for that amazing personality. I want a guy how can be as goofy with me as I am with him!

Tattoos - Turn on, turn off, I'm fine either way?
I find tattoos to be a turn off. I do have one on my foot but just one and I would not want “my guy” to have one.

Would you say you are more country girl or city girl?
I would say I am a city girl. I am from the suburbs of St. Louis but my dream is to move to Chicago.

Roses or chocolates?
CHOCOLATES! But Roses are my favorite flowers ;)

I want to say...
How grateful I am for this whole experience! I want to thank Annie for letting us stay in her wonderful house, all of the girls, Heather, Sean and DAVE!
